Vaccination

At Chet Johnson Drug, we offer walk-in vaccination Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. At this time, scheduling of appointments is not available. See below for details about each of the vaccines we offer and links to their consent form(s)!

Before coming in, please ensure that you have your insurance card(s) with you or plan to pay out of pocket for your vaccination. All vaccines will be billed at the time of service.

Our Vaccines

COVID-19

The updated 2024-2025 formulation of this vaccine is now available at our store for patients 12+ years old. Immunocompromised individuals will receive a different vaccine than non-immunocompromised people (click here to view criteria).

Influenza

We are not currently offering this vaccine.

The regular formulation of this vaccine are available on a walk-in basis for patients 6+ years old. The high-dose formulation is no longer available for the 2024-2025 season.

Pneumonia

Pneumonia vaccination is available for individuals 50+ years old or ages 19-49 with certain conditions (e.g. chronic heart, lung, or liver disease, diabetes, weakened immune systems, or smokers).

RSV

The Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccine is offered to those 75+ years old or 60-74 years old with certain conditions, to those living in a nursing home or other long-term care facility*, and to pregnant people**. Commercial insurance and Medicare Part D drug plans MAY cover the vaccine; please call your insurance in advance to find out if it is covered for you.

 

*Retirement communities and independent living communities for seniors are NOT considered long-term care facilities

Shingles

The 2-dose shingles vaccine is given to individuals 50+ years old who are susceptible to developing shingles (those who've had chicken pox) and immunocompromised individuals aged 19+.

Tetanus

Also known as Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) or TD (Tetanus and Diphtheria), tetanus vaccination is available for patients 19+ years old every 10 years.  A Tdap booster is recommended at age 11-12 and with every pregnancy.

Hepatitis B

This is a 3-dose vaccine given over a 6 month period. It is recommended for individuals 20-59 years old who have never had a Hepatitis B vaccine and 60+ years old who are at increased risk of exposure to Hepatitis B.
